At Just Malawi, your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, and payment details — as well as information collected automatically, including listening history, device information, and usage patterns used to improve your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve Just Malawi services, personalise your music recommendations, process payments, send you relevant notifications, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share your data only with service providers who help us operate Just Malawi (e.g. payment processors and cloud providers), artists and labels when you stream their content (aggregate, anonymised), and law enforcement when legally required.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data at any time from your account settings. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@justmalawi.com.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how Just Malawi is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
