Nomads, Bullets tickets hit market
Mighty Wanderers have rolled out advance ticket sales ahead of the highly anticipated FDH Bank Premiership match against traditional rivals FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
The two will meet at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday, with Wanderers, being the home team, spearheading the tickets sales drive.
Wanderers Brands and Marketing Manager Greyson Chapita said the club had introduced measures on all tickets and match day operations as part of efforts to curb fraud and streamline access into the stadium.
“Fans are being advised to take advantage of advance sales, which not only offer lower prices but also guarantee entry to one of Malawi’s biggest football fixtures,” Chapita said.
Advance standard tickets are being sold at K8,000 each while match day tickets will be sold at K10,000.
A VIP ticket costs K20,000 in advance and K25,000 on match day.

Chapita added that, to ensure wider accessibility, mobile ticket vans had been deployed across Lilongwe, targeting high-traffic areas and bringing tickets closer to supporters.
“In addition, designated selling points have been activated to cater to the growing demand. We are encouraging all our supporters and football fans to buy their tickets in advance. Not only are advance tickets more affordable, but they also help fans avoid the last-minute rush and congestion on match day. With the measures we have put in place, buying early guarantees a smooth and safe entry into the stadium,” Chapita said.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga said they would work jointly with Wanderers to ensure maximum collection of revenue.
“The discussions about match coordination are ongoing, with the home team taking a lead as it is normally the case. We will put forward our suggestions in a quest to maximise and protect revenue in conjunction with the home team and Sulom [Super League of Malawi],” Chigoga said.
